Whaz up?

I absolutely loved being with Logan, Abby and Hudson. What a sweet ring "Hudson'.
I have been home a week and miss them, but happy to be back to my other children, who thought they would die without me when they left me in North Caroline. They did great with out me and Dad spoiled them a tish but they are glad to have me home.

I did "check off the list" things this week. Well not really fun but satisfying.
  1. 2 cars emmission done so they could stay current on the state registration
  2. 1 car(different car) state inspections done
  3. 2 dentist appointments
  4. 2 skirt refashions. Made a pair of khaki painter pants into a skirt. Another one I cut down to my size. Love both of them. Both items I picked up at swaps.
  5. bought 8 pairs of shoes for 5 peoples feet. Wish they were all for me, jk. Buy one get one 1/2 off and a 20% coupon on my total purchase, it was "yeah, that is fine you can get those."
  6. gently whipped John to get the bench done(for the family room). He has done a great job and has it to the paint-able stage. It takes us so long to get projects done. "the ox is slow but the earth is Patience". :)
  7. changed a car battery single handed. The car sat for almost 2 weeks and then one day we had to have it running so I just did it in about 2 mins. easy peasy.
  8. cleaned out my closet. A whole garbage bag of clothes gone. I have empty shelves OH NO!
  9. helped Austin's clean out his clothes, while the girls did the same. Five kitchen garbage bags full of clothes gone from our house. Purging feels so good. Need to do more of it this week.
  10. balanced my checkbook! Oh my, I was $7.00 off last month and it was driving me crazy.
  11. exercised one day!!! better than zero.
Now we are off to another adventure. Kate and Mariah went down to the beach a week early and we will head out Friday. So weird sitting in church with just Austin and Heidi. Heidi would not of normally been in our ward except her friend was speaking. It will be fun this week to just spend time with my youngest child Maybe we can get some Webelos requirements done. haha or maybe we will just play.

Can't wait to go to the Beach. Love going each year with the other families. I was asked "what do you do at the beach?" Well let me tell you "whatever your little heart desires". It would be fun to keep track and see how many books read, movies watched, hours in in the sun, shells found, fish caught(easy, not many on a line) or fishing lines cast, fish net throws(a lot of little bate fish caught this way), games played, pounds of food eaten, hours of talking and laughing, naps, jellyfish stings, hours boogie boarding or playing in the water. These are just a few of the things I can think of that little hearts desire while we are at the beach.

The beach trip has always been the week before school starts but this year it is a week earlier. We come home and still have a week before school starts, yeah. We have started doing that so our college kids can go. The other family actually went for two weeks this year, so that is why Mariah and Kate are there now. We do enjoy our college kids, they are a lot of fun!!! This year we have 4 kids and 2 cars leaving from the beach to drive across to Utah (3 Goodfellows and Heidi). I did that trip last year with Heidi and it was fun. I kind-of wish I could do it again, just so I could go see my family and friends.
Peace out to a good week! (whatever that means but it sounds cool) :)
